Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Lead Antenna Mechanical Engineer. As a key member of our Antenna Mechanical Engineering group, you will be responsible for developing mechanical designs for satellite antennas, working closely with RF experts to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and RF systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for satellite antennas, ensuring stability, alignment, and support throughout the satellite life.
  • Collaborate with RF products engineers to develop integrated RF/Mechanical design solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide mechanical design documents and present to customers at design reviews, ensuring clear communication and understanding of mechanical design solutions.
  • Develop and qualify new products, processes, and methods for building antennas faster, better, and cheaper, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Manage the mechanical design project team, ensuring on-quality, on-time, and on-cost delivery of mechanical products.

About You

  • You have a sound knowledge of mechanical design principles, ideally for space hardware/equipment.
  • You possess a strong understanding of mechanical and thermal analysis techniques, with experience in supporting mechanical tests.
  • You have knowledge of engineering materials and typical manufacturing methods, capabilities, and limitations.
