Cookpad is a leading recipe-sharing platform that aims to make everyday cooking fun. Our mission is to address larger societal issues by solving everyday cooking challenges worldwide.

We operate three key services: Cookpad, a globally recognized recipe-sharing platform; Cookpad Mart, an e-commerce service for easy access to fresh ingredients; and Moment, a coaching service that helps users cook like professionals.

Your Role

As a Project Manager - Bilingual Japanese/English, you will collaborate closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of necessary services on time and within resource constraints.

You will analyze complex challenges, plan strategically, and adapt flexibly to unexpected situations. Your responsibility will be to refine components of Cookpad's three products to deliver the intended user value and create the best cooking experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and resource-efficient service implementations.
  2. Analyze complex challenges and develop strategic plans to address them.
  3. Adapt to unexpected situations and ensure that outcomes align with initial value intended for users.
  4. Refine components of Cookpad's three products to deliver intended user value and create the best cooking experience.
Requirements

Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is essential for this role. You will work with various stakeholders, including engineers, designers, user support, customer success, business leaders, and executives.

Understanding our long-term mission challenges is key. You will need to plan backwards from what we want to achieve and set short-term goals that you execute effectively.
