About the Role:

Cyber Security Network Engineer is a key position within our Managed Services team, working with a leading internationally advanced technology solution provider. As a Cyber Security Network Engineer, you will be part of a diverse and highly skilled team, working with varied customers in a diverse number of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a 24/7 availability service of Cyber Security Services across the client base.
  • Work as part of the Cyber Operations and Delivery team, with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualisation, networking, and applications.
  • Have a solid understanding of IT Security principles, including system hardening, least privilege, segregation, etc.
  • Familiar with network protocols such as routing, firewalling, bridging, NAT, etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers, network devices, and virtualisation platforms.
  • Experience with ITIL ticketing and change management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Be self-motivated and self-managed, handling confidential information in a professional manner.
