About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Verification Engineer to join our team at IC Resources, a leading provider of technical talent to the electronics industry. As a Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in the verification of hardware, specifically focusing on security features utilising CHERI technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to understand and define verification requirements for security features, ensuring that our hardware meets the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios using UVM methodology, leveraging your expertise in hardware verification methodologies and tools.
  • Execute test plans and verify the correctness of hardware security features, identifying and debugging issues found during verification and working to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that the implementation meets design specifications and security requirements, communicating progress and findings to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware verification methodologies and tools, with experience in UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for FPGA/ASIC verification.
  • Familiarity with security features and protocols, such as CHERI, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of UK working rights.

Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with our design team to understand and define verification requirements.
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios.
  • Execute test plans and verify the correctness of hardware security features.
  • Identify and debug issues found during verification and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate progress and findings to the cross-functional teams.
