Job Title: Data Architect for Payment Processing Systems

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team at Global Processing Services. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will design and implement data models to support the processing of payment transactions, card issuance, and customer account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support different domains of payment processing systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, software engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
  • Establish and enforce data modelling standards and best practices.
  • Work with data engineers to implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize database performance to handle high volumes of transactions efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect in the payments industry, particularly with issuer processors.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, customer account management, and card issuance.
  • Proficiency in data modelling tools such as ERwin, PowerDesigner, or similar.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, ELT processes, and modern data architecture (lakehouse).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards in the financial industry.
