About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, performing key financial control tasks, and assisting in producing financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Process Management: Manage financial processes, including payments and expenses, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Financial Control and Risk Management: Perform key financial control tasks, such as reconciliations and treasury functions, to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in producing financial reporting, preparing for audits, and supporting financial planning and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to colleagues, and contribute to system improvements to enhance the team's productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or those with significant finance experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel and Outlook skills, with knowledge of PowerBI and Business Central Software a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to work independently.
