Job Title: Children's Home Manager

Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead the operational management of a brand new children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the home operates to the highest professional and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Manage and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they can perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED and company standards.
  • Manage budgets and contracts, ensuring the home operates within financial constraints.
  • Manage safeguarding reports and referrals, ensuring the well-being of children and young people.
  • Make strategic decisions about the future and growth of the home, working closely with the management team.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure the home provides the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in a registered managers position, or as a deputy manager.
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people.
  • NVQ Level in leadership and management.
