Opportunity Overview:
Emponics is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to contribute to our well-established Capital business, focusing on planned and refurbishment contracts, particularly in the areas of kitchen and bathroom projects.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of projects, including:

  1. Conducting tendering and estimating processes to ensure accurate project costing.
  2. Overseeing the financial and technical aspects of contracts, including procurement, invoicing, and cash flow management.
  3. Collaborating with direct labor and subcontractors to achieve profitability targets.
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  5. Producing monthly contract valuations to assess actual deliverables against budget projections.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial or quantity surveying role, particularly within planned refurbishment environments.
  • A proven track record of minimizing costs while maximizing value and cash flow.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in managing direct labor and subcontract procurement.
