About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in North Yorkshire. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance and service of all equipment on site
  • Work as part of a large on-site maintenance engineering team of 17 engineers
  • Replace worn-out parts on conveyors, including rollers, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatics
  • Perform electrical work, including reading electrical schematics and utilizing electrical test equipment
  • Interpret engineering drawings
Requirements
  • A mechanical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served
  • Maintenance experience in a high-speed production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential
  • You can be straight from the Forces
