Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to contribute to our ongoing success and growth. This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative organization that values the unique strengths and skills of its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cash flow forecasting for various projects.
  • Optimize cash flow management.
  • Engage in risk assessment, value management, and cost control activities.
  • Evaluate work completed by subcontractors and authorize interim and final payments.
  • Assess completed work and facilitate payments through invoices or applications.
  • Assist in the authorization and submission of project variations.
  • Maintain an understanding of current building contracts.
  • Prepare month-end financial reports and reconcile costs and values.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree or relevant technical qualification.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Awareness of contractual obligations.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of multiple construction projects.
  • Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Proactive approach with excellent planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with effective time management and prioritization.
