Role Overview and Daily Responsibilities:

Littlefish is on the lookout for a Supplier Relations and Procurement Lead to join our expanding Finance team and establish exemplary procurement practices from the ground up. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

As the Supplier Relations and Procurement Lead, you will be accountable for the comprehensive management of third-party vendors providing products and services to Littlefish and our clientele.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Chief Technology Officer to identify gaps in our service delivery capabilities, both current and anticipated.
  • Conducting research to identify potential suppliers and partners who align with our values and standards, ensuring they meet the commercial criteria necessary for delivering exceptional services.
  • Selecting appropriate suppliers and partners.
  • Negotiating contractual agreements.
  • Ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Cultivating senior-level relationships with suppliers to guarantee successful engagement and fulfillment of commercial terms.
  • Developing and executing procurement strategies focused on identifying capability gaps and selecting externally sourced products and services.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and issuing contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
  • Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks associated with IT procurement and contracted suppliers.
  • Formulating contingency and business continuity plans to address potential supply chain impacts on critical service delivery.
  • Ensuring robust reporting and data management to monitor supplier performance at both a general and specific account level.
  • Leading supplier engagement initiatives focused on social value and ethical practices.
  • Recommending and implementing process enhancements with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Professional certification in procurement.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT procurement or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to translate scope, requirements, and outcomes into clear supplier deliverables reflected in well-defined contractual commitments.
