About the Role

As the HR Operations Manager at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, you will play a crucial role in implementing policies, processes, and systems to deliver an outstanding HR service to all stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will work closely with the HR leadership team to ensure the efficient, accurate, and effective administration of cyclical and ad hoc operational HR activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve key people processes, including monthly payroll, onboarding, offboarding, performance review cycles, contractual changes, and leavers.
  • Ensure the HR team provides an efficient, accurate, and effective service to line managers and employees, resolving queries quickly and accurately.
  • Liaise with line managers or HR subject matter experts where necessary.
  • Line management responsibility for a team of 5 HR Administrators.
Requirements

This role will suit an experienced HR generalist with a strong HR administration background, some knowledge of supporting payroll processes, and at least 2 years as a HR Manager/Team Leader who has led a team of at least 3 people. The successful candidate will be a highly professional, proactive individual with a pragmatic, flexible approach to work. CIPD Level 5 (minimum) is required, but equivalent experience in an HR role will be considered too.
