Outsourcing Manager/Senior Manager Opportunity

Rutherford Briant, a top regional firm with an office in Ipswich, is seeking an experienced Outsourcing Manager or Senior Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers a competitive salary range of £43,000 - £60,000, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the delivery of outsourcing assignments, including review of monthly/quarterly management accounting, preparation of cash flow reports, budgets, and projections, as well as overseeing and reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and assisting clients with VAT queries and tax investigations.
  2. Act as the overall engagement manager for some clients, liaising with other teams across the firm to facilitate the delivery of annual accounting and corporation tax compliance, payroll, company secretarial services, and other advisory services.
  3. Lead a team of varying roles, including trainee accountants, assistant accountants, and management accountants.
Requirements:
  1. A qualified Accountant, either ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  2. Experience in portfolio management, including delivery of outsourcing services (minimum criteria).
  3. Up-to-date working knowledge of tax, including MTD.
  4. Strong systems knowledge in Xero, Dext, Approval Max, and QBO, including implementation.
