Risk Management Specialist

Aon is seeking an experienced Client Director/Senior Account Executive to join our team in Peterborough. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and home-based working.
About the RoleThe primary responsibility of this role is to take on the role of Client Director for a portfolio of clients, identifying their risk needs and utilizing the best of Aon's wider offering to design, deliver, and handle their insurance needs.
As the senior contact with clients, you will also offer support to less experienced Client Managers. You will own and drive your own book of clients while seeking to grow the book by securing new clients.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the senior contact with clients and provide tailored risk solutions to meet their needs.
- Identify and introduce Aon's products and services to meet client needs and understand and communicate each client's business issues and needs to the service team and other parts of Aon.
- Build client relationships with key decision-makers and seek out new business opportunities.
- Manage your own pipeline of new opportunities and continue to refresh and build on this.
- Grow the revenue and profitability of your client portfolio, including meeting annual income targets.
- FCII/ACII or equivalent.
- Proven client relationship experience in the insurance industry, with experience in the core lines of commercial risks is crucial.
- Experience dealing with Mid-market commercial and corporate insurance risks is desirable.
- Commercial understanding of business, including market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors, and risks.
- Proven track record in developing relationships and working with senior individuals within the organisation.
