AML Risk Specialist

Travelex is seeking a highly skilled AML Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Assurance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Risk Assurance UK in the completion of risk management processes and control assessments.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Development of the Annual Review Plan: Collaborate with the Head of Risk Assurance UK to develop the annual review plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assurance and Control Assessments: Support the delivery of the annual risk assurance plan, ensuring timely tracking and resolution of identified risks and control failures.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to identify emerging risks and highlight areas for further investigation, producing relevant risk reports for risk committees and UK Legal Entity Boards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure risk registers are maintained and accurate, providing pro-active support and guidance to the business to enhance the design of key business controls.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate commercial acumen, awareness of balancing risk with commercial opportunity.
- Knowledge of Risk Management Methodologies: Possess a good working knowledge of Risk Management methodologies, including risk identification and assessment, control testing, and reporting.
- AML Laws and Requirements: Have knowledge/understanding of AML laws and requirements.
- Formal Risk Management Qualification: Hold a formal risk management qualification or risk assurance experience.
