Job Opportunity: Financial Adviser
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Independent Financial Advisory firm as a Financial Adviser. The firm is actively undertaking acquisitions and seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join their team to onboard and takeover recently acquired clients and help the business grow.
The firm has recently undergone new management as a result of a recent acquisition and is looking to build on the strong foundations already laid out and develop the service offering to new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish excellent rapport with acquired clients and understand their current and future needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and prioritize client retention.
- Take over and manage a portfolio of clients with a total fund value of circa £5m+.
- Work closely with the support team consisting of Paraplanners and Administrators to ensure seamless client service.
Requirements:
- Hold a full Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Be a current Financial Adviser with experience in taking over and retaining acquired clients.
- Be able to bring or generate a minimum of £5m+ of fund under management.
- Be comfortable with a reasonable level of travelling during the early integration phase.
Benefits:
- Salary in the region of £60,000 (+/-) with a bonus structure.
- Mileage reimbursement at good rates or car allowance.
- Option to work as a self-employed individual.
- Mixture of working location with travel to see clients, working from home, and visits to the office.
