Key Responsibilities:- Identify and troubleshoot system and PLC faults, determining root causes and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement new PLC programs and software updates as required.
- Collaborate with the team to redesign and modify plant equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Ensure software backups are created and maintained to protect plant machinery.
- PLC knowledge, fault finding, and programming experience.
- SCADA and hazardous areas COMPEX 1-4 qualification.
- Programming languages such as Ladder logic, C+, and structured text.
- Vision controls systems experience.
- HNC/HND from a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Process improvement and root cause analysis skills.
- Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Up to £55k basic salary.
- 7.5% annual bonus if targets are met.
- Pension up to 9% matched.
- Free on-site parking.
- Discounted gym membership.
- 38 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
