About the Role

Safetytech Accelerator is seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our team and drive innovation across a diverse range of clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering project assignments with key accounts, overseeing feasibility studies, and supporting the identification and development of new clients and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of or leading project assignments with key accounts
  • Being the point of reference on the technical and business content of projects
  • Overseeing feasibility studies, trials and pilots with technology vendors, including reporting and evaluation
  • Supporting the identification and development of new clients and business opportunities
  • Contributing to the impact, growth and financial sustainability of STA

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a diverse consulting role, solving complex challenges for industrial clients
  • Proven experience in a relevant shipping and/or energy role would be advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies – in particular Digital e.g. AI/IoT
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Be comfortable switching seamlessly between delivery and market development
  • Have proven experience of delivering and leading large projects
  • A proven ability to describe and analyse complex technology solutions
  • High degree of confidence with analysis, report writing and presentations
