About the role:
We are currently in search of an Events Coordination Specialist to join The Bedford College Group, with responsibilities that may require travel between various sites.
As an Events Coordination Specialist , you will be instrumental in enhancing the success of our students through:
Spearheading the planning, organization, and execution of corporate events and stakeholder engagements, encouraging participation and interaction with events across The Bedford College Group. Coordinating and overseeing the execution of the Group's Student Awards Ceremonies, honoring student accomplishments and ensuring a memorable experience for all participants. Liaising effectively with pertinent internal and external stakeholders for any local, regional, or national award ceremonies involving the Group. Providing essential support to guarantee the efficient and timely execution of the Group's External Stakeholder Strategy to strengthen relationships with local, regional, and national communities, including: Supporting and maintaining the annual corporate events calendar.About you:
Ideal candidates will possess:
A degree in a relevant field such as events management, business, marketing, or equivalent professional marketing qualifications. Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD). A minimum of one year’s experience in developing and executing corporate events with measurable outcomes. Proven experience in managing events from inception to completion, including budget management and internal and external communications. A strong history of collaborating with colleagues and external partners to deliver outstanding events that result in satisfied guests. Demonstrated experience in utilizing e-communications platforms for event management. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the capability to engage confidently and diplomatically with individuals at all levels. Strong judgment and initiative, with the ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and procedures, and communicate them to staff. Proficient IT skills. The ability to travel independently to the Group's campuses, exhibitions, and events. About The Bedford College Group
