Senior Marine Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Surveyor to join our team at Lloyd's Register. As a key member of our Marine and Offshore business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' assets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform surveys on new construction projects, in-service vessels, and marine equipment and components at manufacturers' works, in accordance with Lloyd's Register Rules and Regulations and other applicable national and international standards.
- Discuss and present deliverables with internal and external clients, suggesting solutions where appropriate.
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness, ensuring technical competencies are gained and kept up to date.
- Undertake routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.
- A degree or equivalent from a recognized organization within the relevant field of engineering or physical science or qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience.
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution or working towards or achieving charted or incorporated engineering status.
- Ability to work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics.
- Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.
