We are seeking a skilled Lead Clinical Practitioner (RMN/RNLD) who possesses the ability to motivate, guide, and supervise the provision of exceptional care. This role involves working a set number of hours weekly across a flexible shift pattern, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
The Lead Clinical Practitioner will play a vital role in our specialized acute services for women, contributing to a safe and supportive environment for those experiencing severe mental health challenges.
Daily Duties Include:
- Collaborating with the Senior Nurse to manage the nursing team and actively participating in multidisciplinary team efforts, utilizing clinical assessment tools effectively.
- Overseeing ward operations, ensuring adequate staffing and resources to meet patient and team needs.
- Taking the lead in conducting regular care audits to maintain high standards.
- Providing clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for service development.
- Upholding excellence through continuous clinical practice enhancement and quality improvement initiatives.
- Implementing a structured support program aligned with the annual Quality and Compliance plan.
- Engaging in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing knowledge.
- Ensuring that individual care plans are comprehensive and up-to-date in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Conducting return-to-work interviews as required.
- Assisting the Senior Nurse in maintaining a continuous review process to facilitate service improvements.
- Contributing to the supervision and appraisal process using relevant documentation.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified RMN or RNLD with an active Pin Number, possessing:
