About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Technician to join our team at Arla Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of technical performance and asset care across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Standards and Asset Care: Develop and implement technical standards and asset care procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our production equipment.
  • Reliability and Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to reduce unplanned downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Operator Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to operators and technical operators on technical standards and asset care procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report on asset maintenance data to inform improvement initiatives and optimize production performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on technical standards and asset care initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Skilled technical education and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of LEAN principles and data management, with experience in implementing technical standards and asset care procedures.
