Truck Fitter

Our Truck Fitters are multi skilled; whether it’s a Car, Van, Truck, Bus, Agricultural or Industrial, they have the skills, knowledge and energy to keep our customers mobile, whatever the weather or time of day.

Working in a fast-paced environment on almost any type of vehicle, at the centre, roadside or the customer’s premises, interacting with customers and fixing their problems means every day is rewarding and varied.

Carrying out inspections, identifying faults and fixing them efficiently as possible, whilst all the time working to the highest standards & providing outstanding customer care is key for the role.

Due to expansion and growth, we are currently seeking a Truck Tyre Technician to work full time for our growing team in and around our **Westbury** area.

**As a Truck Fitter you will**:

- Be an experienced and competent Technician carrying out Tyre fitting on Commercial Vehicles, Car Van and 4x4 and ideally incl Solid, Industrial and Agricultural (but not essential)
- Competent in elements of Fleet Inspections
- Experienced in Service work i.e. Regrooves, Turning on the Rims etc....
- Roadside Breakdown Qualified [**REACT**]
- Truck C&G or IMI Qualified
- Carry out all work Safely with a high focus on Wheel Security and Quality of Work

**. **Record work activity & inspections largely on **e-Jobsheet **as well as a small amount on paper
- Be prepared to go on call for Breakdowns on a Rota Basis

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Experience fitting Tyres to Commercial Vehicles
- Experience fitting Car, Van & 4x4 Suv Tyres
- Specialist Tyre Experience in Agri, Solid (**Ideal but not essential**)
- Service Work - Turning on Rims, Regroove
- Casing Management
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Roadside Breakdown Qualified
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and approachable manner
