Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our production and manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely receipt and processing of materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Materials Receipt and Processing: Timely receipt and processing of all materials received at goods receiving or from internal sources using SAP and Catamaran scanning.
  • Inventory Management: Safe and coordinated storage of all materials using FIFO principles to ensure integrity of materials at all times.
  • Goods Issue Processing: Timely processing of all Goods Issues to internal and external customers ensuring FIFO principles and transactions are completed at all times using SAP.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintaining accurate picking/put away of materials to aid Cycle Counting and assist with stock audits where applicable.
  • Quality and Compliance: Carrying out the activities as defined in the Company's Quality System.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participating in the ongoing improvement of the systems used within the department.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 GCSE's grade C / 4 or above
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial
  • FLT experience (Forklift Truck Licence, if this has expired we will refresh)
  • Basic IT skills
  • SAP experience beneficial
