As an Environmental Consultant, you will play a crucial role within the SHEQ team, delivering high-quality advice, support, and direction on health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and assess construction phase plans, environmental strategies, and contractors' Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Provide expert guidance on risk evaluations, risk management, fire safety regulations, hazardous materials, noise control, machinery safety, and occupational health.
  • Design and present toolbox talks, team discussions, and SHE training resources focused on health and safety matters.
  • Perform site evaluations and management audits to oversee trade contractors.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Safety Consultant in a construction setting (experience in Utilities is advantageous).
  • Strong capability to influence stakeholders at all levels and effectively manage potential conflicts during site evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
  • NRSWA certification and Utility SHEA Gas Passport are preferred.
  • Valid driving license and readiness to travel.
