About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Asset Leader to join our team at MSV Housing Group. As a key member of our Assets Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our Asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Data team in ensuring accurate, validated, and relevant reporting for the department.
  • Develop and implement the Group's acquisition and disposal strategy, rationalize stock, and identify option appraisals and stock reinvestment opportunities to ensure a sustainable and financially viable portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to produce development appraisals and detailed recommendations, while leading the department's approach to the Government's Net Zero Carbon Targets.
  • Work with the Assets Leadership Team and other Heads of Service to provide an effective and efficient Asset Management function.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in a housing or construction specialism or equivalent.
  • Experience in analyzing management information to identify improvements.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively engage with business stakeholders, interpret information, analyze complex data, and review alternative solutions.
  • Resilience, positive outlook, confidence, independence, and effective decision-making skills.
