We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Project Lead to join our team at Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently delivering and sustaining projects and services for the agency. This will involve developing and delivering Healthwatch, ensuring it operates in line with legislation and is accountable to the community.
The Asset Management Project Lead will lead and line manage project teams to support achievement of performance targets and milestones in-line with commissioner, funder and agency expectations. They will also support the growth and development of projects as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop Healthwatch as a local independent consumer champion for health and social care services.
- Support and sustain the Healthwatch Board, including recruitment, induction and training.
- Ensure projects meet the needs of residents/beneficiaries through applying an asset-based community development approach.
- Performance manage allocated projects and complete all necessary reporting requirements.
- Develop, manage, implement, and monitor an independent annual Healthwatch work plan linked to the overarching goals and priorities.
- Ensure Healthwatch delivers an effective and credible Enter and View function in line with statutory requirements and best national practice.
- Oversee robust research and intelligence systems to enable Healthwatch to effectively and constructively challenge how health and social care services are both commissioned and provided.
- Successfully manage project staff and resources allocated to project delivery.
- Ensure continuous improvement and develop projects in line with best practice, quality standards and local opportunities.
- Maintain effective links with commissioners, partners and related organisations.
- Ensure effective performance management to agreed indicators.
- Respond to major structural changes in health and social care as and when these changes arise.
- Develop, enable and empower teams to ensure performance targets are met and progress reported to relevant funders/commissioners in a timely manner.
- Conduct research, gather intelligence and respond to any trends or gaps identified.
- Ensure effective data recording and management systems are in place and adhered to.
- Contribute to the planning, development, management, and sustainability of projects in conjunction with the Project Development Manager.
- Ensure that all projects have an appropriate communications strategy and maximise PR and marketing opportunities.
- Be an ambassador for the agency and represent the organisation at a number of different forums and events.
- Produce reports, case studies and other written material as required by the Health Watch Board, Commissioners, agency or others as required.
- Uphold the agency's Core Values at all times.
- Comply with the agency's policy & procedures, including safeguarding (adults and children) and other compliance procedures.
- Assist marketing and engagement work and use creative techniques to gather views from the communities we support.
- Actively take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and ensuring procedures are adhered to.
- Collate appropriate monitoring and evaluation information to support the achievement of agreed targets and outcomes within the project or service.
- Carry out all responsibilities in line with the organisation's Equality & Diversity Policy.
- Recruit, support, train and motivate volunteers as required.
- Undertake any training and development deemed appropriate.
- Undertake any such duties required by your Senior Manager or agency Chief Executive.
