Environmental Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team in the Midlands region. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular environmental site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure that best practices are being followed.
- Manage and oversee monitoring equipment to collect and analyze data on environmental performance.
- Prepare and submit regular environmental reports to stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and community groups.
- Significant experience in environmental management, preferably in a consulting engineer or civil engineering contractor role.
- Broad knowledge of environmental design and works, including impacts on third parties.
- Member of IEMA and working towards chartered status.
