The Opportunity:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our clients' housing portfolio, comprising 4000 properties. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including fire safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 3 Compliance and Building Safety professionals
- Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with the 'big 6' regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance on fire safety protocols
- Oversee compliance surveys and remediation efforts
- Monitor budgets and contractor performance, including procurement processes
- Engage with residents to ensure their safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of asbestos, electrical, fire, gas, legionella, and lifts regulations
- Desirable: NEBOSH Fire Safety certification
