HFG Insurance Recruitment is a leading provider of insurance professionals to the Lloyd's market. We are currently partnering with a leading Lloyd's Syndicate to find a skilled Contract Wording Analyst to join their growing team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Wording Analyst to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wordings, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the London Market. They will be responsible for collaborating with underwriters to address coverage and regulatory issues, up-keeping and enhancing internal wording resources, and enforcing underwriting standards and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with underwriters to address coverage and regulatory issues during the risk placement process.
- Develop and maintain internal wording resources and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide training and development to underwriters on contractual matters to enhance their technical expertise.
- Enforce underwriting standards and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company in the market to offer solutions for new risks and legal developments.
- Work closely with colleagues in Europe and the USA to manage a diverse international portfolio.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the Lloyd's market, including exposure to Open Market or DA business.
- Strong experience in drafting contracts with attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of insurance products and their value to customers from a commercial perspective.
- Ability to make coverage decisions, articulate reasoning, and assess technical details.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Word and document formatting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
