HFG Insurance Recruitment is a leading provider of insurance professionals to the Lloyd's market. We are currently partnering with a leading Lloyd's Syndicate to find a skilled Contract Wording Analyst to join their growing team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Wording Analyst to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance products and their value to customers from a commercial perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with underwriters to address coverage and regulatory issues during the risk placement process.
- Develop and maintain internal wording resources and databases.
- Enhance the technical expertise of underwriters through training and development on contractual matters.
- Enforce underwriting standards and controls when finalizing contracts.
- Represent the company in the market to offer solutions for new risks and legal developments.
- Work closely with colleagues in Europe and the USA for a varied workload.
Requirements
- Experience in the Lloyd's market, including exposure to either Open Market or DA business.
- Experience in drafting contracts with a keen eye for detail.
- A deep understanding of insurance products and their value to customers from a commercial perspective.
- The confidence to make coverage decisions, articulate the reasoning behind them, and assess the significance of technical details.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Word and document formatting.
- Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
