We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team as a Senior Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will lead and deliver specialist therapy services to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI). Your expertise will guide the development of individualized care plans, facilitate rehabilitation, and support patients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and prioritize a complex caseload of patients with ABI, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy programs to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Provide expert guidance on communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
- Lead in planning, developing, and evaluating therapy services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Dysphagia competencies achieved, with a strong understanding of ABI-related interventions.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in complex case management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Specialist knowledge of ABI-related interventions, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.
