Position Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Team Leader for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) within the NHS Talking Therapies framework. This role offers a structured Monday to Friday work schedule, making it an appealing opportunity for professionals seeking a balanced work-life dynamic.
We are in search of qualified B6 Team Lead PWPs to enhance our supportive team environment. Our service spans multiple localities, ensuring a diverse range of experiences and challenges. This is a permanent position with opportunities available in various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-volume, low-intensity therapeutic interventions utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for individuals experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
- Collaborating closely with the Step 2 Quality and Training Lead to oversee the clinical caseloads of trainee PWPs and occasionally qualified PWPs, providing case management and clinical supervision.
- Assisting in managing workloads to effectively address waiting lists and service capacity within the low-intensity therapy framework.
- Engaging with patients facing long-term health conditions and employment challenges, in partnership with our dedicated employment support team.
- Facilitating group therapy sessions to promote community support and shared experiences.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Essential:
- Postgraduate certificate in evidence-based psychological treatments (IAPT pathways).
- Registration with BABCP or BPS for PWP Accreditation.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to work one evening shift per week.
- Commitment to pursuing IAPT supervisor training.
