About The Position
SMT GB is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Utility Product Advisor to enhance our team. This role involves the promotion and sales of our Utility offerings to clients within the South Region. You will collaborate closely with the sales department to assess customer requirements, deliver technical knowledge, and ensure exceptional customer support.
Your Responsibilities:
- Market and sell Utility offerings to clients in the South Region
- Assess customer requirements and provide tailored solutions through our product range
- Work alongside the sales team to formulate and execute sales strategies
- Offer technical guidance and assistance to clients
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients
- Keep abreast of industry developments and innovations in Utility products
- Aim to meet or surpass sales goals and objectives
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
To ensure your success in this role, we seek the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in the construction sector
- Possess a recognized Apprenticeship NVQ 3 in Construction Equipment or Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of all VCE products
- In-depth knowledge of Electronics and Hydraulics
- Expertise in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to develop and sustain relationships with clients
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and product training
- A valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Knowledge or training in E-Mobility
