About Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

As an integrated healthcare provider, we deliver a wide range of community, acute, and specialized services across our facilities. The role will be based at a prominent district hospital, which is equipped with 479 beds and offers a full spectrum of medical services.

Department Overview

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department consists of 20 experienced Consultants, creating a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care. The unit manages approximately 5000 deliveries annually, providing a robust platform for professional growth and collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a structured job plan comprising 10 programmed activities (PAs). Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the maternal and fetal medicine service.
  • Managing complex antenatal cases and addressing medical complications during pregnancy.
  • Conducting anomaly scans and invasive procedures in collaboration with the screening team.
  • Providing care for both acute and elective obstetric cases.
