Position:
This is a full-time and permanent role, requiring 45 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rotational basis (1 in 4).
Our client, Pybus Recruitment, is a reputable independent dealer group managing a network of dealership sites across the UK and Channel Islands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance and conduct inspections on commercial vehicles to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and execute repair tasks in line with approved technical protocols, ensuring vehicles operate at peak performance.
- Deliver exceptional levels of technical support, service, and maintenance to all customers, focusing on Ford and other commercial vehicle brands.
- Collaborate with Senior and Master Technicians, engaging in prescribed learning and development opportunities.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records in a timely manner and ensure that colleagues adhere to the same standards.
Professional Development:
- Commit to continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Efficiency:
- Execute all services in the most resource-efficient manner possible.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Commercial Automotive Technician is essential. An MOT Testing qualification and experience in a main dealership setting are preferred.
Team Development:
- Demonstrate the ability to support, mentor, and develop colleagues and junior team members while delivering high standards of technical advice, service, and maintenance to all customers.
Driving License:
- A full driving license must be held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9 penalty points.
