Lead Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues, ensuring that all vehicles are inspected and repaired to the highest standards.
- Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial vehicles, identifying and addressing any issues or defects, and performing repairs and maintenance as required.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service they receive.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure that all vehicles are inspected and repaired efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures to enhance the quality of service provided.
- Qualifications: Fully qualified City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Commercial Automotive Technician, ideally with an MOT Testing qualification and main dealership experience.
- Skills: Ability to manage processes, administration, and paperwork, as well as support, coach, and counsel colleagues and junior team members.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
