We are looking for a caring and committed Evening Care Assistant to join our team at Education Network Leeds.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting children with significant learning challenges and autism during their evening routines, both educational and recreational.
You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide tailored care and assistance, ensuring that each child's unique requirements are fulfilled.
- Deliver direct support and assistance to children with significant learning challenges and autism.
- Execute personalized care plans and behavioral support strategies under the supervision of educational and therapeutic professionals.
- Assist with personal care duties, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene maintenance.
- Promote a secure, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
- Effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues to guarantee consistent and comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document each child's progress and report any concerns or changes to senior staff.
- Support children in enhancing their social, communication, and life skills.
Experience in a care role is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures is required.
