Overview

Our Victoria Park Grove facility provides round-the-clock support to clients. We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to engage our clients in various activities such as bowling, shopping, and community events. Our shifts include days, nights, and sleepovers. If you enjoy outings, nature walks, and social meals, this fulfilling role may be ideal for you. As a Care Assistant, you will deliver exceptional care and assistance to our clients, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. You will be dedicated to enhancing our clients' experiences, helping them achieve their goals and dreams. This welcoming environment is located in Leeds (LS13), and possessing a valid UK driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Role: Person-Centered Approach - Develop individualized support plans with clients that reflect their preferences and aspirations, regularly reviewing and adjusting them to accommodate changing needs. Respectful Support - Assist clients in achieving their goals, promoting independence based on their abilities. This may involve accompanying them on social outings, supporting their hobbies, and organizing activities. Open Communication - Maintain transparent communication with clients and team members, acting with integrity and fulfilling commitments. Collaborate with quality inspection processes and provide necessary information to inspectors. Understanding Care - Provide personal care with dignity and respect, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and hygiene. Dedicated Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records, including daily notes, with client involvement. Adhere to Health and Safety protocols, including Manual Handling and Food Hygiene, while performing household tasks as needed.

The Candidate

The Candidate: Committed to delivering appropriate care and support in line with care plans, including personal care. Knowledgeable about the importance of accurate record-keeping. Capable of performing a variety of personal care and domestic tasks. Physically able to meet the demands of the role, including mobility support and night shifts. Adjustments will be considered for disabilities. Willing to learn and use computer software (e.g., Word, Outlook) and undertake relevant training in care. Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Skilled in liaising with families, inspectors, and other stakeholders. The shift pattern includes morning and evening shifts, with sleep-in shifts, providing a balanced work schedule.
