Faculty Lead – Character Development

At Altus Education Partnership, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our character development curriculum. As Faculty Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive character development curriculum, aligning with our school's values and ethos.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum across PSHE, Food Technology, and other related subjects.
  • Drive student outcomes in both academic and personal development areas, leveraging data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Lead on extra-curricular activities, including whole school assemblies, drop-down days, and character-building projects.
  • Monitor and track student progress, using data to inform teaching, learning, and personal development strategies.
  • Support and guide staff in professional development, ensuring all members of the faculty are continuously improving.
  • Promote positive student behavior and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
Requirements
  • A strong background in leading personal development or character education, ideally with experience in Food Technology, PSHE, or related subjects.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and the wider school community.
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of high expectations, equality, and inclusion, ensuring that all students are prepared for life beyond school.
