The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Instrumental Music Instructor for Upper Strings. This role involves providing high-quality music education across various educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging instrumental music lessons to students.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Collaborate with other music educators and participate in ensemble activities.
Salary and Hours
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £33,000 to £44,000, adjusted for part-time hours. The expected workload is approximately 23.70 hours per week, spread over three days with an additional morning session.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in instrumental music instruction.
- A comprehensive understanding of the current educational curriculum.
- The ability to work effectively with both individuals and groups.
