Music Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-qualified individual to join our thriving Creative Arts Department as a Music Educator.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position (0.6 full-time equivalent) over 3 days, Monday-Wednesday, with the possibility of fewer days. The successful applicant will be expected to teach classes in the middle stages, from upper Primary to lower Secondary.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, support and contribute to the co-curricular life of the Music team;
- Assess, record and report on the progress and achievements of the pupils;
- Teach and support groups and ensembles effectively;
- Help organise and participate in School ensemble and musical activities and events;
- Set high expectations for pupil behaviour to create a purposeful working atmosphere and a safe and respectful classroom environment that supports the learning of all pupils;
- Implement all procedures and practices of the music team;
- Communicate effectively with Colleagues, parents and pupils;
- Safeguard health and safety.
