Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews. As a key member of our Psychology team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, interpretation of psychological tests, and individual and group therapy to our clients.

Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews are specialist mental health services providing neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative rehabilitation for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury. Our services are designed to support individuals in achieving their full potential and living fulfilling lives.

The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in the training and clinical supervision of Assistant Psychologists, as well as involvement in audit, policy, and service development. You will also be responsible for assessing and interpreting outcomes, and contributing to the development of care plans.

We are looking for a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting. You will be passionate about working with people with complex mental health needs and have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Person Specification
  • A HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Passionate about working with people with complex mental health needs
  • Neuropsychological experience is desirable but not essential
  • Capable of working with difficulties such as physical & verbal aggression, history of offending, drug and alcohol problems and self-harm
