We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist to join our Psychology team at Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, interpretation of psychological tests, and individual and group therapy to our service users.
Job ResponsibilitiesCygnet Health Care has been providing a national network of specialist mental health services for over 30 years. Our services cater to individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative conditions.
We are looking for a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist to work with our team at Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews, providing a range of psychological interventions to support our service users in achieving their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialist psychological assessments and provide interpretation of psychological tests.
- Develop and implement individual and group therapy programs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop risk assessments and care plans.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Assistant Psychologists.
- Contribute to audit, policy, and service development initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting. You will also need to be passionate about working with individuals with complex mental health needs and have the ability to work with difficulties such as physical and verbal aggression, history of offending, drug and alcohol problems, and self-harm.
