Job Title: Careers and Employability Advisor

Location: Redhill with some travel to the South Croydon site

Salary: £35,812 - £37,989

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Careers and Employability Advisor to join our successful college group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality careers guidance and support to students and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective systems and procedures for UCAS, student finance and support.
  • Research and provide up-to-date reports on local and national career opportunities and market information.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in careers guidance, education, and employment.
  • Deliver careers guidance and support to students and adults, including one-to-one sessions and group activities.
  • Work closely with tutors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of careers guidance and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in an educational setting providing careers guidance.
  • Employability skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young people.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of careers guidance work and developments in education and employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, independent, and client-focused career advice.
