As the Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the care facility to achieve or surpass objectives while ensuring exceptional care standards. You will supervise care staff and manage the facility in the absence of the Manager.
Your responsibilities will include training and overseeing staff, assisting with resident assessments prior to admission, maintaining care plans and documentation, and facilitating communication with families and external organizations.
The Care Facility:
Registered to accommodate up to 38 residents, this facility specializes in dementia and respite care. It has received outstanding reviews and feedback from both residents and their families.
The facility is committed to placing residents at the core of all activities, consistently delivering the highest quality of care.
Required Skills and Experience:
Prior experience as a Deputy Home Manager.
The ability to engage with residents to comprehend their needs and provide exemplary care services.
Strong understanding of CQC standards.Capability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and the staffing team.
Ability to foster ownership of care programs by actively involving residents and their families in the development, agreement, and evaluation of care plans within the facility.
