We're seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as a Pre Sales Solutions Engineer. As a key member of our Americas Global Enterprise business sector, you'll work closely with Solutions Engineers and Architects to advise and support sales teams with pre-sales and deep technical knowledge.
What You'll Do- Bring new Cisco technologies to market and collaborate with Business Units and Technical Marketing to understand our products, technologies, and Services.
- Help develop our solutions by providing feedback from the field and prepare responses to customer RFP's.
- Conduct training and technical workshops for customers and internal teams, and understand competitor offerings to provide guidance to the sales team on product positioning and differentiation.
- Represent Cisco on community forums and customer-facing events, and work across our vast portfolio of technologies including routing/switching, orchestration, hybrid cloud, collaboration, IoT, software-defined/programmability, and security.
- You have a solid understanding of technologies such as campus and DC secure networking, SDx & programmability, hybrid cloud, collaboration, and security.
- You have demonstrable experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical customer-facing environment, and can demonstrate a good understanding of some or all of the following technologies, Cisco Control points, SDx, SD-WAN, Nexus 9k & ACI, Webex, Security Suites, and UCS.
- You are adept at using initiative, discretion, and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities, and have experience and knowledge of the sales lifecycle.
- You preferably hold at least one of the following CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, DevNet certifications, and are a great teammate with a passion for technology and the impact it can make on our customers' businesses.
