Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Trainer to join our team at British Gas. As a Gas Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to our engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical training to engineers, including mandatory training, reaccreditation, apprenticeships, and technical learning programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure quality and timely completion of all delivery solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of timely administration relating to engineer training, assessment, and internal quality assurance.
  • Be a leader and role model for safety performance within the workplace.
  • Be an ambassador and promoter of diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating a culture and environment that allows colleagues and customers to thrive.
  • Accountable for own Continuing Professional Development (CPD), covering current and future skills requirements, ensuring compliance and technical expertise with relevant competencies, legislation, and industry codes of practice.

Requirements:

  • Must hold Core ACS +4 and Gas Services Installation/Maintenance N/SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 660/662 series or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
