Position Responsibilities

Key Duties
  • Enhance and oversee the ongoing development of our agile software engineering practices.
  • Architect software solutions that facilitate automation in inspection, repair, and manufacturing environments.
  • Contribute to the evolution of software architecture.
  • Engage in the daily execution of our software initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Support the specification, maintenance, and enhancement of software tools.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in technical leadership within a team setting, including guiding design efforts and supporting junior developers.
  • Expertise in developing and articulating software system architectures.
  • Extensive background in agile software development teams.
  • Strong grasp of contemporary software technologies and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C++, VueJS, C#, Python).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Testing frameworks (e.g., Git/Github, Actions, Jenkins, Codebuild/CodePipeline).
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading agile software development initiatives.
  • Background in Robotics and Automation.
  • Knowledge of robotics communication frameworks (e.g., Robot Operating System - ROS).
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following:
    • C/C++
    • Python
    • VueJS
    • AWS
  • Significant experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies for software deployment (e.g., Docker, Singularity).
