Job Title: Asset Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Safety Officer to join our team at Well-Safe Solutions. As a key member of our HSE department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our personnel, assets, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to personnel on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety cases and SEMS.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the drilling and decommissioning industry.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis training.
  • Experience with software packages for QHSE management systems.
  • UK minimum safety training (BOSIET, MIST, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Well Plug & Abandonment and/or Decommissioning activities.
  • CPD maintained in accordance with relevant Professional bodies (CQI, IOSH, IEMA).
  • Certified Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor training.
